ABS MF 054 - 804 W/KS - light wastewater pump

ABS submersible pumps of the MF series with their large solids passage offer quality, reliability, performance and ease of installation, covering a wide range of dewatering applications tailored to meet the needs of ABS customers

Applications

  • ABS submersible pumps of the MF series have been designed for the economical reliable dewatering of buildings and sites
  • Pumping effluent from locations below the backwash
    level in accordance with standard DIN/EN 12056
  • Filling or emptying containers
  • Suitable for use in septic tanks
  • For the emptying of flooded cellars
  • For drainage
  • For pumping of rainwater

The Vortex hydraulics are particularly suitable for the pumping of fluids containing gaseous or abrasive particles.

For use on building sites, the MF 354, MF 504; MF 804 are also available as VO-versions with screen and hose coupling.

Economic installation, thanks to its compact shape, small sump requirements, fittings for easy mounting and short installation time.

Construction

The water tight fully flood proof cast iron motor and the hydraulics section comprise a compact robust unit construction.

Motor

Three-phase 400 V3~ or single-phase 220-240 ~V, 50 Hz, 2-pole (2900 min -1 ), insulation class F, protection type IP68.

Bearings

The stainless steel rotor shaft is supported in lubricated-for-life
ball-bearings.

Shaft sealing

Between motor and hydraulic section by means of high quality
mechanical seal, carbon / silicon carbide (MF054- MF334) and silicon
carbide (all others), independent of direction of rotation and
resistant to temperature shock. Motor side: oil lubricated
lip seal.

Temperature monitoring

TCS-Thermo-Control-System with thermal sensors in the stator to switch off the pump in the case of over-heating and switch on automatically after cooling down.

Hydraulic section with Vortex impeller

Free solids passage 20 mm (MF 054/154), 30 mm (MF 254/324/ 334), 40 mm (MF 054/404/504/604/804) and 60 mm (MF 565/665).

Medium temperature

Max. 40° C continuous use, 60° C intermittent use (max. 5 min).
